I was born in southern Oregon and have always had a deep appreciation for the outdoors. Growing up, I spent much of my time exploring the woods, boating, camping, and enjoying the Oregon coast. One of my favorite activities was riding ATVs at the Oregon dunes. 

In June 2007, I married my best friend, Jess, and together we have built a wonderful life with our four amazing children. Over the years, our family has grown in meaningful ways, and in that journey, we have been fortunate to share our lives with Claire too. 

 After relocating to North Idaho in 2009, we continued embracing an outdoor lifestyle, always finding time to enjoy off-road adventures, boating, and RV trips. 

After successfully owning an honest and reputable auto dealership and full-service repair center, I made the difficult decision to sell and step away to seek new opportunities in the same industry. My goal was to find a company that upheld the same values of integrity and customer service that I strongly believe in. That search led me to Golden Rule Brake, where I discovered a business and owner who share my vision for how a shop should operate and how customers should be treated. I look forward to many more years of contributing to and growing with GRB.

On the job training with multiple tech classes throughout the years. Also, owned / operated a full service repair center for over 10 years.

The store manager and I possess a strong ability to identify employee strengths and strategically utilize them to enhance the efficiency and quality of service in our repair shop. We recognize that each technician excels in specific vehicle types and repair tasks, and we ensure that every member of our team is placed where their expertise is most valuable. By fostering a supportive, family-like atmosphere, we have cultivated one of the most productive and thorough repair centers in the region. 

Dream car: 

Growing up I loved the DeLorean, thanks to the greatest movie of all time, Back To The Future. This along with owning a Hummer H1 Alpha was always a goal of mine growing up. Since, I have previously owned another dream vehicle, a built 2000 Trans Am WS6. It is missed dearly. At this time I have my sights set on a C8 Corvette Z06 or ZR1. 

How do you like to spend your free time? 

With a fully setup shop at home, I love to spend time in the garage tinkering with anything that has a motor or engine. Growing up I always found myself tearing things apart and learning how they work. Besides things that involve tools in my hands I love photography, fishing and camping in the woods, racing on & offroad, and some gaming. With 4 kids at home I love to share my hobbies with them, teaching them how to be self-dependent and problem solvers.
